Hot Chick is the fourth episode of Season Two. It is the fifteenth episode of Superjail overall.

Plot[]

Jacknife heads to a building that sells dirty magazines of woman. When he enters, he slams the front door onto a man and walks through the building while taking dirty magazines off the shelves and stuffing some of them into his pants. He soon sees a sign, above a door, saying "Live Girls" and gets excited. He opens the door to a room and pushes a man out to close the door. He then sits on a stool to see a live woman. However, some curtains close onto the woman he was seeing, so Jacknife punches the tokens slot to let the curtains automatically open again. However, the curtains open on Jailbot, who crushes the woman, instead. Jacknife is once again captured by Jailbot, who drags him out of the building while destroying the door of the room, all of the shelves and the front door in the process, beginning the intro.

The Warden chooses an alien who crashes into Superjail to be the new prison guard. But the alien is the family dog tracking the Twins down to bring them back to their planet. Meanwhile, The Warden falls in love with the new guard (because she formed herself into a woman who is naked), or more her body, so he takes his clothes off also (leaving his hat, gloves, glasses, and bowtie on). He starts flirting with "Hunter" while she tracks down the Twins, who try to escape because they have a malfunction in their transporting powers. In the end they capture Hunter in the crystal that holds her powers, which the Warden takes on dates. Alice has a convict bound and gagged to her bed at the end.

Trivia[]

  • This episode covers a lot of the Twins' backstory.
  • This is the second time in the season that the Twins actually have more screen time than a 7 second cameo.
  • Interestingly, despite their being at least seven guards send out to the arena, when the Hunter battles and kills the guards, she was only killed at least six of them onscreen. One of the seven guards is unknowingly absent and is not seen during the carnage. The guard that was absent wore a green outfit and hat.
  • The Twins have several objects that they have on their shelves in their control room and pack up in their suitcases. Some of the most notable objects include crystals, dolls, a roller skate, a thermometer, an empty fish bowl, record tapes, walkie talkies, 2002 glasses, and a food-styled box with The Warden, a burglar and a hamburger on it, saying "Warden Burger", and a bowling ball.
  • This is the very first episode to reveal Ash's name in this series. This is also his first physical appearance since "Mr. Grumpy-Pants", excluding his cameo on a monitor in "Best Friends Forever."
  • When the Hunter is looking at the digital files of the inmates on the computer in Jared's Office, the last names of Gary and Ash are revealed to be "Sedi" and "Firin" respectively. Additionally, Jean and Paul’s names are labeled as "Gay" and "Gay" respectively. Their names wouldn’t be revealed until the next episode "Gay Wedding", which was produced after this episode.
  • Beefy from "Superbar" makes his second appearance in this episode.
  • The recurring Bored inmates from "Combaticus" can be seen sitting at the table of the inmates in the cafeteria.
  • One of the images shown when the Hunter is searching through The Warden’s memories is an image of The Warden riding a purple version of his winged Centaur in a colorful background with hearts and a rainbow. This image was actually used as a promotional image for the second season. This image also appears as the main menu of the Season 2 DVD release.
  • During the last part of the episode, the Hunter's body changes from bloody to clean.
  • Combaticus makes a brief cameo appearance in the sky.
  • Jacknife can be seen "swimming" up the alien beam near the end of the episode.
  • In the broadcast version of this episode, The Warden’s genitalia and the Hunter’s breasts, when she is trapped in the crystal, are covered by censor boxes. These are uncensored in the DVD release of Season 2. However, there is nothing really explicit underneath the censor box for the Hunter’s breasts on the DVD.

Cultural References[]

  • This episode has a very similar premise to the 1986 film Critters.
  • In the false flashback of The Twins, there is a bird-like creature housed in a tree that can be seen in the background. This is a reference to the 1973 film Fantastic Planet.
